what Tires?!

Hey .org,
My 4 tires are shot in just a year! They were continental extreme contacts from discount tire, cost $114 a peice. It's time to pickup another set from somewhere and I'm not up to paying the entire $600 after tax, warranty etc. What kind of guys would you reccomend for not spending a whole lot.. $400 wouldnt be terrible. I was thinking some nice yokohama's or something but really haven't got a chance to browse around the web yet today, I'm waiting to get my car back from the mechanic (doh! new used trans :/) Any sites I should know about?

Thanks!

You don't say what size you are running; I have 225/55/16 Falken Ziex 512's, think they were about $75/each shipped from www.discounttiredirect.com

Love 'em. Have about 3K miles on them in 6 months, went from 225/60/15 to 16's and the ride got more comfortable. I also think the handling improved, but I'm sure that they are more comfortable.

Where did you get ContiExtremeContacts for $600? Tirerack has them for $89/each...I think I paid somewhere in around $400 shipped...unless you're talking about mounting them as well.
