Lontar: Both sets of mine lasted less than 8k miles. I got Pilot Sport All seasons and getg 30k out of them. They are expensive, but worth every penny.

PS: were you on 17-92 going towards 436 yesterday at around 4:45??

Craptenzas are great for drifting! You could always use them for that.

Forget the Falkens. Everybody talks about the soft sidewalls, which will give you crappy handling. Go for some pilot sports. You can go with the summer tires, which are cheaper than the a/s, since you live in florida. Handle great especially in the rain. They are definitely worth every penny. Another type that has great handling are the Bridgestone Potenza S-03's.

Are these brand new replacement RE92's you will be replacing? Size 225/50/17?

If they are, I will buy them from you.

I liked mine better than the Kumho KH11's I have now. They have worn in a irregular manner and are now loud. They also do not seem to grip any better
than my old RE92's and ride rougher. Also, they are due for replacement after only 20,000 miles and my original Potenzas went 40,000. They still had plenty of life left in them, but what I thought to be tire noise turned out to be a front wheel bearing and I replaced them. Its not my first choice in tires, but if I could get a new set cheap, they are fine for me.
