I'm getting a really good online deal on a set of 16x6.5" wheels and tires with 205/60/16 tires, but the offset is 55mm and my Max's 15x6.5 stock alloys are 50mm. I did the "offset calculator" and it says, "The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 5mm LESS. The outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT in towards the body by 5mm."

Unfortunately, I can't try them on first and I searched the FAQ and forums with no answers, since everyone usually runs big wheels. Will the new wheels clear my strut and brakes? Please help. Thanks.
