Will a 255/35/19 fit a 19x8.5 rim ok?

Will a 255/35/19 fit a 19x8.5 rim ok? Any safety or negative performance issues. Basicaly is the rim wide enough?

Yes 255/35/19 will fit just fine on a 8.5 wide rim......
