Upgrading from 15" rims to 16" 5-spoke (2000-2003)

I just bought a set of 16" 5-spoke (2000-2003 Maxima) OEM alloy rims. I originally had stock 15" steel rims. I noticed when I tried the 16" rims on, after putting on my old steel lugnuts (just for testing the fit of the rim), there was little, if any, bolt length left. It DID cover the entire width of the lugnut, however. Is this reason for concern? Are the bolt lengths for the 4th and 5th generation maximas the same? Also, what type of lugnuts have most owners used when upgrading from the 15" to 16" rims? The Nissan Dealer's prices are always quite outrageous, and if a generic lugnut would work, that would suit me fine. Any helpful info would be appreciated!!

yes, all maxima rims will fit all maximas (actually not sure about the 1st and 2nd gen)... but no, not a concern.
