Question about offset and width
As some of you know, I drive a 2000 I30, currently in the bodyshop, anyhow...I'm thinking about getting new rims in 19"s but my question is, what offset and width should i go so that the rim comes out to the fender and rear quarterpanel? I had 18x7.5 40mm offset and the rims were still tucked in. Basically if you look at my car straight forward or from the rear the rims looked like they were inward of the body lines. I was thinking of a staggered setup 19x9.5 in the back 35mm offset and 19x8.5 35mm offset in the front. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure if this is true....but if u wanna run 19x9.5 with some 265s or 275s....a high offset is required (40+) or else it will rub against the outer edge of the fender if your dropped....dunno if this is 100% true....but I have seen other maximas with staggered setups that run high offsets in the rear......our maximas don't have big/wide fenders like a G35 or Supra for that matter...

I believe they are the same fender sizes....and since u have an A33....I bet U can stick 19x8.5 all around with 35-40mm offset 245/35/19 and slam that car to the floor and still clear enuff room without rolling the fenders....
