Tires

Will 245/40/17's fit my 95 Maxima? Whats the biggest anyone has ever put on their 95?

225/35/17's are on now and no problems... I want wider tires for traction and BFG's seem like a good way to help that problem. But the closest to the size I want is 245/40/17's... anyone?

The 245/40 will be almost an inch taller than the 225/35.
FYI

Wider tires doesn't mean more traction. Use the correct size tire and upgrade to a more agressive compond "Z" with a stiff sidewall for agressive handling.

A bigger tire is also heavier which will add to unsprung weight on the cars suspension. Thats not good for handling.

So wider more aggressive compound doesn't = better traction?

I only suggested the 245's because they don't sell DR's in anything smaller
