Looking to Buy...recommendations

I am looking to get one of these 2 tires, any recommendations on either or another brand?

Continental ContiPremierContact (225/55R17) BW/95H $117.00 a piece
Falken ZE-512 Ziex (225/55R17) BW/97W $103.00 a piece

Also I am thinking about having them instal an Eibach Pro Kit, what do you think, recommendations, should I get it?

Wrong forum, FYI. Don't know about the Contis, but I'll tell you plenty about the 512s. How's your driving style? If you drive like you have a foot in the grave and your turn signal is constantly on, get the 512s. If you like the steering response and stability in the turns you have right now, then stay away from the Falkens. I replaced a set of 225/50R17 512s on my 5th gen after only 3300 miles cause I couldn't stand the old man, 1970s land yacht feel. Hell, the Dunlop M3 snow tires in 55 series I replaced the 50 series 512s have better feel and response.

My take: spend at least $150 a tire to get some quality.

toms - I still have my OEM Contis, so don't have first-hand knowledge. I do remember that last fall, several posters here were not pleased with the OEMs, so when tire change time came, they went with the ContiPremierContac and said the improvement was very noticable.

Maybe one of those posters will see this thread and respond.

None of the above -I would choose the Bridgestone Turanza LS-V over those two in a heartbeat....read the reviews on TireRack and see for youself...

If you have OEM rims, forget it. In 17 in, it goes from 205/45 to 255/40, and some other few sizes in 18 and 19 inch.

Hey! Greetings from California! I'm new to this forum, but I had to chime in on Dunlop Direzza DZ101 's since I searched and found no posts on them. I have a 5th Gen 2001 GXE, and I was one of the ones who purchased the 18" G35 Replica wheels on ebay (7.5 width). I mounted 225/45/18 (Largest I could within tire calc specs) Direzzas on them, and they look great and ride extremely well! Only drawback was that I had to get spacers all the way around, but the set of 4 only cost $22. The Direzzas only cost about $150 each. Great price, great ride, great tire..
