i need to know what size hub rings for alessio wheels... help

i know a bunch of you guys on here have alessio rims too.. i bought a set about 2 months ago, the guy didnt send me hub rings.. i now have 3 sets of rings, and none of them fit correctly cause everyone, including the dealer who sold me the rims, is a complete moron.. i tired calling alessio themsleves but they are in the process of closing there US branch...

i know the inner size of the rings need to be 66.06, have no idea what the outer size is. the rims are 17" , (dont think that matters), and its for a 96 max.. please help...

Measure the id of the rim bore. Then go on the net to find rings that match up the outer/inner measurements. Pretty easy.

brought the rims to the largest custom wheel distributor on the east coast, had them measured TWICE, and both measurements they took were wrong. been calling the vendor i bought them from for a month now. he finanally sent me a set, there wrong. called ALESSIO USA themselves, and they are closing the headquaters and there is no one there from technical department. called 5 diffent alessio distributors, im told they cant help me, and i should call alessio... i have three sets of hub rings, none of them fit correctly. so.. its not so easy... i cannot take a tape measure and get a measurment in millimeters thats accurate to with a 10th of a millimeter...

I had the same problem , my aftermarket rims where machined over to 76.1mm
and nobody had hubrings in that size, so i went out to local machine shop and had them custom cut on CNC lathe ( it cost me $100 ) but it was well worth it - no more vibrations.

You could measure you center hub with telescopic gauge and caliper

calipers: http://search.ebay.com/calipers_W0QQ...fsopZ1QQfsooZ1

telescopic gauges ( pricey, so look around)

I would look into having the wheels machined for a more common (cheaper) size ring.

FWIW Im not running any rings on my GT rims, the conical lugnuts do a fine job of centering the wheels.

My brother's running my old TSWs without hub rings as well with zero issues and no vibrations.

OP, you can probably do the same. We tighten one lug nut on fairly tight to get the rest centered up perfectly then do the rest and torque them to 85lbs.
