wheel adapters.. not ur typical question

my friend has a 240sx with 25mm spacers that he was going to let me borrow when he gets his +15 offset 10.5 inch tires on. He couldnt get the spacers off by hand because he thought they were impacted on. So he goes to a tire shope to remove the spacer and they tell him the spacer practically welded itself onto the rotor! They had to chisel off the wheel spacer. (btw, these aren't a cheap brand, they are from some place in japan). Is there anyway to prevent this from happening to me?

BTW, he does drifting events so may that have cause it to attach?

I know there was a product made for bikes that prevented the crank from cold-welding to the spindle, but I don't know if it can survive high temperatures. I would try anti-seize.
