help with tires

I plan on buying the Motegi MR7 gun metal rims they come with toyo proxes but the tires are 205/40/ZR17. My friend told me that since the tire is 205 the rim is gonna stick out a lot and would look ugly. Does anyone have pics of how a 17 inch rim would look on 205 tires? and also would it really stick out that much? wat would be a better tire size to buy? Thanks for all the help guys.

205/40 is WAY too small for a 17x7.

I have 17 motegi DP6s which are 17x7 with 235/45 rubber, which is the correct size to keep the speedo correct.
