Grassroots Motorsports Autocross touring tire shoot out
Its a war in the tire industry right now to see who can make the best all around street/touring tire on the market that can handle the performance and still not hurt the wallet. Here is a break down on the competitors.
BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KD
Yokohama Advan Neovo
Hankook RSS-Z212
Falken Azenis RT215
Kuhmo ECSTA MX
Falken RT-615
All tires were run unshaved to test lateral grip, cornering and fastest track times.....I wonder who won......
Not to be biased or anything..lol..but its a good read pick it up if you get a chance next month.

So where the f is my copy? Being a NASA member, i think i should get it sooner than the stores.
IMO, the Hankook, the old Falken 215's, and Kumhos aren't worth even considering. It comes down to the T/A KD's, and the 615's, as the Neova's don't have many sizes to choose from.
Falken guy: Would you feel safe recommending the 615's for driving steady at 120+ mph over a 100 mile distance? I can't afford to have a tire that will fall apart like the Option Z incident.
