Huge Chrome Rim Problem!!!

have been to hell and back with RSA tires. Had all 4 replaced under the defect and when the authorized goodyear dealer balanced them they had to use all kind of weights and told me it was a ***** to balance them. Told by Nissan one of the new ones has a problem (twisted belt). Been noticing a slow leak in one of the other brand new ones. Took it to a non nissan tire shop thinking maybe I picked up a nail. When he put the solution on there was huge air bubbles coming from the inside part of the tire, where it meets the rim. When he showd me the rim I could not believe my eyes, it was pitting in so many places it looked like a pirhanna got to it. The tire is not sitting flush against the rim becuase there is a gap from where the metal is corroding. He showed me the same thing on one of the other rims. I had the guy put the spare on so i can bring the rim into the dealer. I also called Consumer Affairs and told them i paid $1000 for the chrome rim option and i want 4 new ones. All i can say is monitior your tire pressure and see if you have any slow leaks as this may be the problem. John

1stthing I would do is go back to the Goodyear dealer. Tell them they messed up your rims. Have them call up the rep. I had to change thr rsa tires twice in 3 months. I upgraded to F1's. I have crome rims, they balanced them and installed the tires with no problems to the rims. You just had a tire person who didn't know what he was doing. Don't take no BS from them. Warren

They are replacing one of the chrome rims since it was not holding air. He said the goodyear dealer could have chopped it up but that he would cover it under warranty. Hoping i dont have a problem with the others down the road.

I monitor my tire pressure all the time, you'd be suprised how much of a difference a few Lbs can make...plus the fact you can catch a problem
