i was just about to order some 245/40/19 tires and the sales person said that it wont FIT the max. i asked him why and he threw a bunch excuses at me such as, rubbing, hitting the shocks and springs or coilovers blah blah. "it might work on some rims but not others"...... i know a few people on 4th gen's are running this size and i know that with this tire, the overall diameter will be increased and i will have braking problems. do u guys think this setup will fit or not? i really want 40 profile tires instead of 35. anyways, the rims are 19x8 and i believe they are +40 on offset.

should i get em or they wont fit?

 

if you know other 4th gen people with this setup, what's there to worry about?

 

cuz of rim offset and width, those matter a lot and i dunno what others are running on...

 

19x8 w/ 40mm offset will work
