Murano wheels on a 4th gen Max?

hey fellas, would oem Murano wheels work on my 98 SE? I was wondering about clearance, and the fact that some Murano vehicles are awd, might have to get wheels from a fwd model. Thanks for your input.

You can get a set of ANY murano rims off ANY murano and it will fit your car. AWD/FWD makes no difference. Clearance is fine. 235/40/18 is the size of the tire that fits on the rims and fits on our cars. Check ebay and you can get a set of 4, shipped, without tires for under $300.

I think they look ok...would still be better with a drop, though. BTW, this is my car pictured below.

Metal God, one thing to consider with the Murano rims is that they are a stock rim. This means they will be stronger and more durable than nearly any aftermarket rim you could find, especially the lightweights. I personally love the way they look, they are better in person than pix. These rims aren't as heavy as they look either. I think it was Digital Texan who weighed them in at one pound lighter than his stock 16" five spokes, which is what I had also. I'm sure you've got the five spokes because you have an SE. I got mine dirt cheap in a deal I found in ebay. The rims were brand new taken off Muranos at the dealership prior to the customer taking the vehicles. I got mine for $50/wheel. I know there are nicer rims around, but for the ridiculous money they run, this was the smartest way for me to change the look of my shoes to make it different and better. I just can't see paying what some guys pay for wheels, especially on older model cars.
