what sizes does the stock 92 maxima fit?
how big can i go and how narrow do i have to stay?

Go w/ 17-19" rims. Also, make sure rims are at least 8" wide.

19x8 would be maximum size without cutting/rubbing. you'll probably need a 225/35 tire also

Honestly, the biggest I would go on a 3rd gen is 18x8. 19s are a bit extreme and you run into rubbing issues with the rear struts as we have IRS in the rear, which makes fitment more of an issue than with the 4th or 5th gens.
