Rim Leak?

Just recently I had the front passenger tire patched. However the tire still slowly loses air. Is this a sign of rim leak and would I need to replace the wheel if it were the case?

Take the wheel/rim off the car and do a visual inspection. Also inspect the air valve for any damage.
