I am not looking for opinions on how they look, I just wanted to know if anyone has had experience owning this brand of rims.
I have a chance to buy four tires and rims (ADR Cyper) for a very reasonable price that will replace my Centerlines, since one of mine is ruined beyond repair.
For the price, I know they aren't "great" or "fantastic" but I won't buy them if they are absolute crap.

Thanks

I can't say first hand because I've never owned but the clearcoat wears and the paint chips really easy. Whats so attractive about the wheels is the pricing and some models are relatively light. I think the enkei rpo2 wheels on ebay are a good bet if you are looking for some light wheels at a reasonable price.
I had a pair of chome adr m-sports for ahwhile, sold them to a friend and the still shine to this day.
They are ok to me, mine just werent realy lightweight and they were knockoffs ...

+1 one on the clearcoat coming off easy. My friend had some ADR Spade's (Volk GT-C knockoff) and the clearcoat was coming off where the spoke and the lip meets.

i went with decent. I have a set of ADR SZ1. Were very nice when i purchased them. Still are nice to this day but i did get a minor peel off with an air gun. Also the shine on the lip is fading and nothing seems to polish it back up
ive had them since last feb. Still hold pretty strong. If I were you id get something a little better. Im only 17 and am always low on cash lol. good luck

I've had mine for about 1.5yrs with 225-45-17 tires, so probably around 15-20K miles on the rims. They are holding up well on michigan's pot hole riddled roads. I do my best to avoid potholes, but accidents happen and I've hit a few big ones, no damage yet. The paint and clear coat is holding up perfect, There isn't a chip or scatch on them. I've had no problem with the clearcoat coming off. I would say go ahead and buy them if you think you would like how they look on your car.
Thanks for all of the opinions. I still might get them. I have been searching for a replacement wheel for my centerlines with no luck.
Lalalalalala.
With tires, how much you looking at?
I guess ADR is okay. They seem to copy the more expensive wheels and offer then cheaper. I think they give up weight for price though.

I have a set of ADR Riccochets and they are pretty damn good. I did slightly bend one on a pothole (u can barely see the bend) but I hit the pothole so badly that it sheared the strut mount bolt straight off. Other than that I've had no problems at all with ADR's. This is my second set of ADR rims and even my first set was in excellent condition when I sold them

They are $450 with tires that look to be at least 60-70 percent. They also look like they were properly rotated (no uneven wear). The guy says they are flawless, but I haven't had a close look at them.Originally Posted by Jeff92se

The rims are not my first choice, but I don't have enough money for G35 wheels and tires

Or, just about anything really nice for that matter. My wife greatly limits what I can spend on the car, since we are going to try and sell our house/buy a more expensive one within the next year.
I have seen the clearcoat peeling in major fashion with my own two eyes. Rims were less than a year old. The finish on ADR wheels is crap.

Im thinking of getting ROTA Sub-Zeros in 18 to put my F1's on. The only thing im torn on is color! Im not feeling the black with the chrome lip, its way too common on here. What color are yours?Originally Posted by 1FSTMAX

I didn't buy them.
It seems like the quality is a bit iffy and I don't like fake bolts on my rims.
I think I will just wait until I can buy something I really want. Thanks a lot for everyone's input.

Working in the wheel and tire industry, I have had many brands come through my hands. There are some wheels out there that are absolutely horrible quality wise. Adr's aren't one of them. Some of their earlier wheels did have clear coat issues but, this is no longer a problem.. Most of the style's are knock off's but they still look nice. For the price you are going to pay for them you can't beat it. They are extremely hard to bend and will last a long time. They aren't the lightest wheels by any means but are definitly ok as far as quality is concerned.
