245/35/19 Tire Owners Only

Quick question for you guys with this tire size. I'm currently running Proxes 4's, and have my tire pressure set at 35psi all around. Just curious what everyone else with this size is running? Should I be closer to 40psi? At 35 my traction is pretty good, but just seems like my pressure is low (eye-gauge). The max psi for these tires is 55psi listed on the sidewall, but that seems too high. Fill me in please.

I run 38psi all around. Personally I prefer to run at least 36psi for all sidewall thicknesses. Gives me a little less rolling resistance.

im set to 40 psi cuz thats what it says on the tires. but when u run 19's u loose air easily. so i gotta go pump more air in every 2 weeks.

Why would 19's loose air easily? I've never had a problem with this.

Sorry for barging in with my 235/35/19's but I run 40psi

I'm talking tread width. The first number. If you're wheel is 8" then there is a certain minimum you have before your tire is strecthed. I don't know the minimum, but I don't think I'd run a 225 on an 8" wheel. Not saying you are running that because I don't know.
