i was wondering if they get damaged more easily then other types of rims. and also will a 3 inch lip fit on a 03 maxima??????

 

I'm pretty sure you can achieve a 3in lip with the right style wheel and proper offset. You may want to consider rolling your fenders to avoid any rubbing issues. Its what I'll probably have to do. I was gonna go staggered with 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +45 but I choose a different route. I dont see how they get any more damaged then the average wheel you just have to be careful.

 

theoretically there is more of a chance of bending the outter lip, i guess, but i have had mine for 6 months, hit my fair share of bad potholes, with no issues.

 

I doubt you can mount rims w/ 3" lip up front w/out fender mod
