Need tires

Wrong section, but I bought Falken 512s to replace my stock Potenzas. They were a good price, but I wouldn't buy them again. The sidewalls are too soft and they required a couple balancings to get rid of the vibration.

Falken ZEIX 512s... to me, they've been good for the price. No issues with vibration or balancing thus far. I keep em inflated at 36 all round and the sidewalls seem fine for my driving.
There are definitely better tires out there, but if you're tight on cash, these will do. And almost anything is better than the stock tires anyways.

I have an 02 gxe and just bought some BF traction T/H since I live in a cold climate that gets a lot of snow. Great all around tire, definetely nothing like the Yoko Es100's I used to have on my Spec V but decent. If you are looking for an all season tire which is winter capable go for the T/H.

I'll agree with upstatemax, the conti. extreme contacts are great. In PGH our roads are terrible. My last two cars have had the contis. and I have never had a problem. They wear like iron, decent price, great in snow, and excellent all season handling. There a little hard to find in popular sizes, and seem to throw allot more slush and mud then most. Although any real performance tire is better then the the RE-92s "sports" tires that are also OEM on a Sentra 1.8........

Yeah, check out Tirerack.com. They will have all the info you could want and more, plus you'll probably get the best deal from them too. I got the Kumho ECSTAs and they were only ~100/tire and I'm extremely happy w/ them. Check them out!
