black rim choices

Hey guys I am buying some rims for the max and I would really like your opinion as to which styles you guys think will stand out on my max. the choices are
1. http://superbuytires.com/wheels/model/TIS/Style+22+B/

2. http://superbuytires.com/wheels/model/TSW/Montage+B/

3.http://superbuytires.com/wheels/model/Zenetti/Flow+B/

4.

5.

so let me know whatch think!

I like the last one. I'd pick #4 as my second choice.
FYI: I think the black rim trend will eventually fade away.. But then again, everything that's related to fashion fades away.

This is very subjective. I think most will agree that there is no best choice or bad choice. Did you favor any one? If they are all the same to you, how do they differ in price and is that important to you? Do they all weigh the same and is any increase in performance attributed to a lower rotational inertia important to you? Do all the rims share the the same load rating? With low profile tires, stronger rims decrease the risk of damage due to pot holes. How much do you like cleaning rims? A simpler design is easier to keep clean.

There is so much to consider. I'm sure you know the old saying about opinions. If you are looking for a vote, I prefer simple shapes and would vote for the Montage rim. It' s your money. You should buy what you like. Good luck.

I would say #3 personally. Also, did you mispaste the first link? It's a truck bolt pattern. I'm guessing you're going 20s, since they all fit up to or start at that size.

I would go with the Foose Speedsters. They have a good look. The chrome ones I have seen on 6th Gens look great. I agree with minsbang, the black painted wheel trend is on the way out. The first set of wheels I had on my Max were black. It was a somewhat unique thing when I first got them but I started seeing more and more cars with them. When one got bent, I was all to happy to have an excuse to throw on some chrome.

Definitely the Foose Speedsters. Those are very unique rims IMO. Like everybody said, the black wheel trend was cool for a minute but then got old so quick. I remember when I bought my rims a year ago. Everybody loved it, then more and more people started doing it too. Dont get me wrong, I still get compliments everyday but its very old to me now. Mine are coming off soon. Another disclaimer, make sure you get the rims painted with good coats. The disadvantage about painted rims is the wear and tear. The paint starts to chip, little by little and slowly but surely. Before you know it, your rims look like ***. Im not going to lie, mine are ruined and I take care of my car. Ill be getting a new set of rims sometime this month. Still shopping around. Anyway good luck with them and keep em clean.

hey guys thanks for the feed back. I guess I did not think of the black thing getting old. Or the paint chipping. I was just thinking that my max is all black and black rims would give it that nightrider look. I am not a real flashy guy just want people to go humm when they see the car pass. The rims are all very similar in weight with the exception of the foose ones. They happen to be the most expensive of the lot as well. I am not really partial to one over the other that is why I asked for your help and input. If you guys have some other rims that you would like to see on a 6th gen max let me know.

Those rims look like bullsh*t. And correct me if i'm wrong but axis doesn't make those wheels in black, i believe that its a Wheelsnext thing. ( painting the rims black)

Anyways, number 2 is that hot ****, those wheels look like they go with the body style of the max.

Trust my opinion cause I got style

Hey I like the 5th one. I was plannign on getting the Foose Speedsters but they are kinda out of my price range. Also like the Zenneti Wheels.

But go with the ones you like dude!! Pretty sure the max would look hot with any of those wheels.

I like the Foose wheels probably the best of your choices.

I like the dark wheel look, it adds kind of a stealth element to some cars.

Black car, black rim, polished lip looks tight, IMO.

I think that is why I want them more now than before. Everyone is going away from them so in my quest to be absolutely different from the rest of the world I just may take on the black and if I get tired of it my guy will chrome them for me for free. the wheels are the Donz Columbo's.
