BFG Drag Radials 225/50/R15

Will these BFG Drag Radials fit on our Stock 15's? I am looking to get ready for Drag racing at the tracks in January. This guy wants 100 for two and they are in really good condition. Will it make a big difference? Mod- Y pipe, ecu, b-pipe, intake and UDP.

Yes they will fit. $100 for two of them is a good deal. They will make a difference somewhat, depends what you consider a bit difference. You will probably gain about .2s in the 1/4 mile, that's about average for DRs on a maxima.

Yes unless the clutch is in bad shape already you'll be fine. Transmission will be fine as well. People break transmissions in stock maximas, and others have 400hp and have never had a transmission problem. It's about how you drive, accidental mis-shifts, and luck.

Transmission holds no problem. I was doing 6500 rpm straight dumps on slicks with a 6-puck that grabs hard this summer. As for the clutch, If you don't dump it to high it should be fine.

I dumped the clutch on slicks for 2 years on a cheapo replacement clutch at 5500rpm with slicks and never had a hint of any clutch problems. His clutch will be fine.

Make sure they are in good condition, and have decent tread left on them too. My buddy got ripped off when he bought some dr's that wasn't worth the $50.
