Anyone running on yokohama avid v4s?

i'm thinking of getting a set to replace my kumho ecsta supra 712s...
kumho's are worn and starting to track any undulations or cracks in the road...

found some yoko avid v4s on tirerack.com with good reviews....they are priced at $103 a piece with tire damage coverage of 50 bucks for all 4 but gotta pay for shipping and then installation at a tire shop...

was at america's tire last night and the guy (assistant manager) said he can price match to earn my business... america's tire has the yoko's for $154 a piece and with a $21 per tire replacement warranty the total will come out to $702 otd...

anyone had experience with these please comment... thanks in advance.

I bought a set of Yokohama Avid H4S in September for my 95SE, 5-speed. The V4S were not available for my OEM 15" sawblades. I am more than satisfied with the H4S. If you are not an overly aggressive driver I would suggest the H4S as they will certainly last longer than the V4S and are less expensive to boot.

However, if you like to push your car through the corners and drive fast, get the V4S.

What are you currently riding on?
Let me know how the ride is compared to your existing setup...

God what a difference. I know we dont have many miles on them, but its significantly a smoother/quieter ride now with the Yoko's. Excellent tire so far... will have to see come rainy weather how they perform.
