thats the same width as our stock 18... at 42mm they will be closer to the car alittle... the more you go the farther they stick out..

don't go higher, stay around 45... 48 is not much, but you are bringing the rim out some..

42 shouldn't be any different. 45 is our stock offset...

Why only 18's if you don't mind me asking? Those wheels are nice, though I had a bad experience with ADR's before...

what was the bad experience if i may ask? I just wanted some black 18"'s to put on instead of the ones i have... I will be getting 20" 's later, way later.. school is pressing me, and i have a short budget.. I want them to fit my stock tires.. if i do find ones with a width of 8" will they still fit the stock tires for the 7.5" width? thanks...

Definitely go with +42mm. That should be fine. There is erroneous info in this thread, so let me correct it: the LOWER the positive offset, the FARTHER OUT the rims will be. Generally +35 to +40 is a nice range to have the rims be flush with the car, at least in front. That's for 4th gens but is probably the same or close for 6th gens.

I had ADR M-Classics on my car at first and the clear coat on the lip started to peel away after a couple of months, ADR wouldn't return my calls and they place I bought them from gave me the run around (the story is waay longer than just that) Come to find out they were then discontinued, this was after being back to stocks for a couple of months!
Loved the look of the wheels but wasn't stoked on the quality...I've heard this from some other folks as well as far as ADR's go. Not trying to scare you, just the facts!! Here's a pic of my first wheels:

Thanks guys, i have been pounding this out in my head, and i am just going to wait for these 20"....

They are Zenetti Flow Black, i am thinking 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear...
but i might just go with 20x8.5 all 'round.

Youre better off going 8.5's all the way around. Think about your tires if you go staggered.

And not to steer you away, but my black rims are the first and last set of black rims Im going to get. Hope the Zenettis are powdercoated at least. The black paint will start to chip and it wont look to good after awhile.

i like the zenetti flows. They would look sweet on your white car. good choice about waiting for them. Another thing you could do is what my friend did which was he just waited until he needed new tires then found a deal where they sell both tires and rims for the amount that would of cost him to buy tires alone.

For best handling (under/oversteer balance) in a FWD car, the rear tires should be NARROWER than the fronts. Since that looks weird, most people just get them all the same width, but if you're going with 10" rears and 8.5" fronts you're gonna have even worse understeer than stock, I believe. Just something to consider. The staggered look is hot as h3ll, but at the same time it's kind of poser-ish to have huge fat rears when your car is NOT RWD.

preeech . . .

I've yet to really experience oversteer in my max, but I'm glad for that as its a little more difficult to correct in an FF than in a FR.

Maybe if one had coilovers and adjusted the rears to try and keep the rear loose, that could be a potential combatant to the oversteer generated by a staggered setup. . . just a thought.

I like the staggered look anyway. Never heard of increased torque steer issues though.
