I am gonna replace all my tires...i have been looking on ebay..anyone have any comments about nankang tires? i have no idea....or if anyone has any places online to order at a good price i would love to hear it(besides tirerack)....i have an se 245-45/18

 

Nankang are extremely cheap tires. Worthless. I am going to be getting a set of the Goodyear Assurance TripleTread, they were number 1 rated tires in consumer reports lately. They look hot too and I heard nothing but good reviews about them.

 

Would it be cheaper buying it online? Do you have the site? Thanks a lot!

Toyo Proxies are some of the best tires out there.. There is a site that was posted here just recently about where your could get then for like 204 a tire.. I know these are the ones i will be looking into when i buy my 20" 's... i think their treadwear was like 340, AA.. look for deals taht have them buy 3 get one free.. do a google search, or better et get them from ebay..

 

The Tirerack.com is a great online store. Also check the Org classifed section, sometimes they have great deals. I also recommend you post a thread in the Wheels & Tires section. Last, I'm a fan of BF Goodrich KDWII g-force ultra high performance all weather tires. I love these tires, they drive like your on rails and speed rated up to 189mph, not to mention they look hot and have an excellent thread life...



Also look into Nitto, Falken, Dunlop

 

I'm looking at those. Are they quiet? Of course, anything is quieter than the RSA's

 

Actually a little more Noisey than the RSA at first, however after breakin, minimum sound. Again, they have superior handling capability which is more important to me and a look that is slammin IMO...

 

When my F1's are shot I will buy BF Goodrich KDWII g-force ultra high performance all weather tires. The F1's are not good in the snow. I used my wife's car in the last snow fall here in NY.

I have nothing good to say about Falken Ziex ZE-512s...

 

I second the Yokohama's I have had two sets of them on two different cars and I think they look great and they have held up great.

If you want all-season, I think you should lean toward the Proxes 4.

Since you are in Michigan, I would actually recommend buying a set of cheap wheels and dedicated snow tires to swap on, but that's your decision.

Most of the ultra high performance tires, suck in the snow, even if they are "rated" as all season. However, they dominated in dry and a lot of times even wet handling.

 

^ Deffinitly agree with the statement above if you see any serious snow. Also look into falken FK 451s, i liked them on my 240, more so then es100s

Hey, good looking tires are nice. I would never buy a tire based on its tread pattern but it is always nice to have a meaty tread pattern. The KDW2 DO have a nice tread pattern, but I think they're just good tires in general, even besides that.
