before you get new wheels and tires, drop your max, 20's are too big for my taste, but I've seen a few that look good... A drop is a must though. you put 20's on without a drop, and you'll look like a monster car......

it'lll work, but it'll still look kinda awkard without a drop. Before my drop, i used to love my 19's look, but hated the way it looked w/out a drop.

I have Foose Speedster 20's with the stillen kit. the back looks ok, but the front still has this gap. Turning makes the wheels rub a bit, and the rear rubs if you hit a dip. Planning on switching them out later to 19's and lowering the car. Not sure if im doing springs or airbags just yet. I'd put pics up but not sure how to do on here. So here are links to myspace pics.

You def have to drop your car...Do not go lower than a 1.6 in the front and a 1.2 in the rear... Thats what i droppped my max looks clean wit twentys...You will def have to mod the wheel wells...I got 20 x 7.5 they rub a very lil bit so if you go wider u will have a lot of work todo..Look at my forums under member rides pix of twenty see how good 20's will make u car look...

these rims im gettin are 20x8.5 and the guy im buyin em from has an 01 and owns the rims shop he told me he had similar size on his and there were no probs pertaining to width except minor rubbing as well, the offset on them is +42 so im thinking i should be alright anhd if he did not have any probs with his im hoping i dont either especially with that nice offset, im really hoping i dont have to start cutting the fukin wheel well just to fit these *****es on! any input?

If you can get them in 19's or 18's then get a drop...That style looks hot but not a fan of 20's on the 5.5gen
