I haven't seen exact testing on the Sports vs old KD's but believe the Sports to be less sticky and not quite as good as the old KD style.

but they're half he price. rated 8.8 vs 9.5 dry traction. i dont know, the .7 is kind of psychological, rated by people so it only rates whther it met their expectations or not... It also looks like the desctription of the sports was written for import compatcs, and the kd's for bigger hp cars.. but thats just my opinion

I have some experience with the g-force sports, though it's on the rear of a RWD car. Basically I've found that these tires have pretty good lateral grip and pretty good acceleration grip. That's taken individually. They are not particularly grippy when you combine the two, as when you're adding throttle on corner exit. They require that you get straightened out before feeding them much power. The wheelspin is easy enough to control, you can clearly feel when you've got them back to just rolling again, and there are no uncontrollably sideways surprises either. But they just won't grip very well for acceleration until there isn't much cornering going on. If I had to guess, I'd say that during their development there was some consideration given to drifting, which also amounts to a measure of idiot-proofing for the many prospective customers who don't compete at anything.

For auto-x, my older (and now unavailable) SZ50EP's were better.
