Which tires for Maxima: BFG Traction T/A or Yoko V4s?

It is time to change out my Dunlop Sport A2 tires 215/55-16 (almost bald in less than 30k while the tires are rated at 50k).

After some Internet research, it comes down to either BFG Traction T/A (H-rated) or the Yoko V4S (V-rated). Does the H/V-rating make any difference in legal speed driving?

BFG has better handling/traction while Yoko seems to have better ride/comfort. They are about the same price and tread wear rating.

Anyone has experience with these? Any recommendations?

H = 120 mph max
v = 140 mph max

v usually has better traction ratings. I actually just got some V rated over my h's and they definitely gripp alooot better. Wheels still spin in first gear but second gear grabs hard.

Not too bad. Discount Tire online has them for $91/ea but you have to have them installed locally.

My research shows the dry traction is great but wet traction is lackluster. However, I don't care too much since I am in So. CA.

I need tires soon and was curious what made you pick the AVID V4S over the other tires raved about on this site (Proxes 4, Pilot, etc.)
