Unless you have a 6th gen, you should check other forums. Otherwise the smallest we (6th gen) can go is 17". Anything smaller will not clear the factory rotors.

You would need to move down to altima brake parts and wear 225/60/16 shoes. ERGHHH or just eat a bullet and call it a day.

we have a bad wheel gap with 18's, never mind a 15" wheel on this max, damn!

With my 17" winter rims on I can barely get my pinky in between the brake caliper and the rim. There's no way to go any smaller without changing the brakes like other posters have suggested.

Tek - - I agree with you on the wheel gap, but if someone runs a smaller rim and keeps the same diameter the net effect is the same wheel gap! They just end up showing more rubber on the sidewall.

Kam, have you seen this done on a max yet? I would not feel good about putting on smaller brake parts just to get cheaper tires. I mean 265HP/255 ft-lb and putting on smaller discs. Does that really make sense?

Actually, the smaller rims and meatier tires should make wheelgap less prominent.

bottom line is on a 6th gen (which is what were dealing with) you cant go smaller than a 17 with stock brakes

if the diameter stays the same, it should change the gap at all.
