Tire Help Please........Had bad luck with Falken Zeix

Hey all, Here's the deal. I have 45,000 on my 02 SE. At 30,000 I bought some Falken Zeix(after reading some recommendations here in the forums) tires that were great......for about a month! The tread wear was bad right off the bat. Now, 15000 miles later the Falken's are nearly bald. These tires are a joke. I thought that I was getting a great deal paying only $110/tire. I guess that you do get what you pay for. I cannot beleive that they went bad so quickly! I baby this car and don't drive hard at all. I have a 5 mile drive to work and it's not stop and go.
So, do you have any recommendations on some tires that will last longer then 10000 miles without breaking the bank? I really don't care about performance. I just want something with a thick tread, solid walls, and safety for my baby daughter. Thanks in advance guys.

Peace,
Stingray

Thanks for the info cause I was about to purchase some Falkens. I think I am gonna go with the Toyo proxes tpt. Gotta get rid of these garbage a** Nitto 450(worst tires in the world) stay away from Nitto. I don't care what people say about the 550 being good tires................

Yep, MAXRB......I'm looking for some all-season tires for sure. All-seasons are mandatory here in Chicago. Thanks.

If snow and ice are a concern, check out the BF Goodrich Traction TAs in H-rating.
