tire size

Whats the story with using bigger tires in the rear and tne next size down in the front?
Like 225x45 17 front and 235x 45x 17 rear or vice versa.

It's easier to fit wider rubber in the rear without rubbing, and it looks good to some people (called a "staggered" setup). RWD cars run staggered setups because it gives them more traction on acceleration.

I'm running 245/45 up front and 225/50 in the rear, the opposite, because running a regularly staggered setup is retarded performance-wise in a FWD car, it will just promote understeer that is already so prominent in our cars.
