Fitment - 17x8, 40mm, 235/45 okay?

Eyeing up a wheel and tire set for my 4th gen on stock suspension (so far). Yes, this noob has read all the stickies and searched.

For the most part this seems to be the prime tire size for this rim and the consensus seems to be that it'll fit, no rubbing. But then I'll read some conflicting info, like a reply here and there that'll suggest I'd need spacers or that the offset is too high. So fugit, I'll just ask if this'll fit without any problems like rubbing in turns, strut clearance, etc.

Rims are 17x8, 40mm offset and a 235/45/17 tire

TIA

Should be alright. I ran 17x8's with a +38 on 235/45/17's with 0 issues. But I have a 5th gen, so I can't vouch for sure on a 4th gen.
