Bought some Nexens

well I shelled out some $$ for some new tires today.

after much thought and a few Millers, I decided on the Nexen 3000.
went with the 235/45-17

if the link above works, ya'll can see it.

Not 5 minutes after picking them up, in a rainstorm, I went
roaring around a corner only to see a fat dude on a moped in the middle
of the road

So, first test came and went quickly. Tires grabbed the road and I laughed at the guy as I drove by.

25 miles later, I'm happy.

Obviously not the best tire out there, but with the $$ left over, I'm takin the wife to KFC for dinner ....

wow.

KFC was a good idea

2nd day on tires and I'm still happy.

seems real smooth on the highway, and if you've ever been
on a NC highway, thats saying something.

How about now? How many miles have you racked up on them so far?

Are they wearing very rapidly? Or does it look like you will get over 25K miles from these?

Those prices at that website are very high! I've found prices much lower at other places.

Try:

www.eastcoasttires.com

www.1010tires.com

www.tires.com

www.onlinetires.com

www.tirerack.com

Eastcoast tires have by far the cheapest prices I've seen on certain tires.

Thanks man! East coast tire hasthe same package i want, but i think for the money you save on the tires, the wheels are a bit more and they charge for mounting so its all the same, but thanks, if you are just getting the tires, they are only $90 each in my size.
