Tires mess with alignment?
I switched around some tires today since my front one is really messed up, and I threw it in the back to put less stress on it. Anyway, the damn alignment is off again for no reason. I didn't touch anything except the tires, what gives? The pressure is the same all around, even though one of the tires is a bit newer from a different company. I never knew worn tires can cause seriose alignment issues. Possible?
Yeah me too(good memory btw
), but I needed to buy certain equipment for it to get it right and a place to do it at, and at the moment it just proved a bit out of place for me to get it done in time. In the end, it would be cheaper and faster to just let the shop do it, but of course they couldn't get it right. Anyway, that doesn't mean I still won't pull it off in the near future. Keep asking that same question in the other thread every few months, and you will be very pleased with the results.

Thanks, but already got them here.. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=464356As to the point of this thread, had to figure it out myself.. Yes, worn tires WILL really mess up your alignment. Putting 2 evenly worn tires at the front made my car finally go in a straight line when the steering wheel is not touched. Something they neglected to teach us when going over alignments at tech school.
Putting worn out tires in the rear + winter/rainy season setting in =
