so i went and put some new tires on my car and came to find out that one of my rims is bent. I saw it on the balancing machine and it is truly warped. You can see it on the inside of the rim, as it "blips" each time it rotates. there are no obvious bends when you look at it, you can only see it really when the tire is rotating, but it is pretty nasty. Now that I have lower profile tires, i feel it even more. The tire guy moved it to the rear so it would be less invasive. However, right at around 60mph you feel the car shake and it gets even worse when i hit the brakes. I am hoping that the rim is salvagable. I believe it is. Does anybody know where I can get the rim repaired in Brooklyn NYC? How much does it usualy cost to straighten rims? Again, its not like an obvious bend, its more like a warp. Thanks
