Quick Tire Question

I know ultimately this should be in the tire and wheel forum but I need a quick answer... Is anyone running Yokohama YK520's? (225/50/17) I plan on buying 4 from Discount Tire in the morning. Was going to go Yokohama Avid V4S but changed my mind because they are unidirectional and takes 5 days to get them shipped in. Also, 4 Discount Tire guys at 2 different stores say the YK520's are a great tire. Opinions?

I put a set of Yokohama YK420's on my 2000 max from Discount Tire and I loved them. They handled very well and with proper rotation they wore very well. I put over 40K miles on them and they were still in good shape when I sold my car. I was going to put them on my 03 Max, but they didin't make them in my size, so I moved over to Kumho Ecsta ASX's. I have been very happy with them as well.

Fuzion ZRI

I just put a set of Fuzion ZRI 235-45-17 on my stock tires. Firestone AKA Ramona tire has them on sale for $103 Each normally selling for $154 (Average price). I like them and the price is great in my opinion. Good luck installing your new tires.

Any experience with the ASX in snow? How is road noise and tire wear?

Does the 235/45/17 seem louder (as far as the ride is concerned) than the stock tires or are they the same....

I just install a new set of tire last week, I try the Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 so for now I am happy with it, lot better than the Potenza. Try this link it’s a good tool to choos e size and to get good deal.
