SSR COMPS.. steven88 chime in!

Just a question for the guys that have 18" ssr comps...how do you feel about them quality wise.. i asked for steven88 because i too have a silver max and love the way they look on steven88s car. Im sure there are others with the same color and rims but i have not seen or noticed them.

TIA

I have the 16" SSR Type C rims (same as the Comps but the Type C was JDM). I bought these rims about 6-7 years ago and they have been solid from day 1. I do not have a single complaint about them whatsoever and I am as picky as they come when it comes to being analytical about the quality of a product.

SSR's are great wheels. Im buying a set with tires locally, and Im not to sure if they are going to fit yet. If they dont, Ill have to sell them. The rears are 17x9.5 with a 285 tire. eeekkkkk. Im getting a good price though

The quality of these wheels are amazing. The weight is the characteristic that stands out the most for me. Everytime I took off the wheel to work on my car, I was always amazed of how light they were. I had a small problem with these wheels though. The clearcoat on the lip was chipping. Very hard to see unless you get close. Other than that, I have had no problems with them. I miss them sometimes.
