need some quick help

alright guy im about to get some 18x8 either BBS RE or SSR GT3's. I have used that tire size calculator and 235/40/18 is almost a perfect size. but 265/35/18 is identical, although i know that wont work. So what do most of you run on 18x8? I was thinking of a 245/40/18 but id like to hear some input.
