Picked up a set of ContiProContact for snow

We got slammed with an ice/snowstorm yesterday and before it hit I ran frantically to dunn tire needing something NOW...these were all they had and I paid $188 ea out the door installed. Our size (245/45/18) is pretty uncommon and therefore these were the ONLY choice I had that was in stock and my car was sittin on totally bald GY F1 GS-D3's and the very thought of being stranded in a ditch made me get there pronto. Just in time too, these things handled good in the snow, are DEAD silent, and are OK in the dry for handling but then again im coming from bald tires. In the summer Ill giv the review for these "Riken" UHP tires I have coming with new rims...I shoulda waited on it but oh well, they will sit in my house till spring. $1800 on wheels and tires in a matter of days, I hate thinking about it.
