Hey guys. I am stuck between getting used rims and tires and just buying new front tires right now. I would borrow money from my parents, who I already owe for the car and the repairs, so conserving money is essential. I cant decide if I want to spend $200 on front cheap tires now, or if I want to spend ~$400 on used tires and rims. If I do buy the tires, in about 8 months when I do get cash, I will get rims anyway. If I buy the rims and tires now, I wouldnt need to buy rims then, but I will still probably be paying off my parents...Any ideas? Sorry for the "should I do this or this" question.

Also, since I am in Fl, we dont get snow, ice, etc...only sun and rain, do you have any recomendations for tires? Rating? Something on the cheaper end of the spectrum with good tire wear resistance.

Debt sucks, just get front tires now and save up to pay back your debts. Then later on buy the rims you really want.

 

Opinion taken, and I think that is what I am going to do.

Any suggestions on some tires that will last a while, and are good for more agressive driving?

 

I just bought a set of Riken raptors, cheap and made for high performance. Nexen 3000's are another cheap high performance tire with great reviews. THey both are under $100 each even in 18" so they will be very cheap for your car.

 

Check out Ebay for some cheap used tires... I've had good luck there!

 

I got some potenzas isntalled and balanced for about $173. I needed them asap, so I got em. And theyre decent tires, right?
