Question about rim offset

will 18x9 28 offset wheels fit my 98 maxima flush ?


if it doesnt will it stick out a lot?

With the correct tire, the rear will be okay with a fender roll and possibly a slight pull. Front will stick out.

wow 9 wide and 28mm is a pretty wide rim for a maxima

i'd say the fronts will be a problem for a 4th gen....the rears will be fine if you modify it

Like I said you need the correct size tire. If you're thinking about 18x9 +28 all around, I would suggest rolling fenders and 235 tires for the rear.

My fronts right now are 8.0" wide +31 offset w/ 235 tires and it is flush. It rubs slightly on big dips. I'm sure my problem would go away with a 225 tire. But for you to run 9.0" wide +28 offset in front...You'd need a super stretched 225 tire or maybe 215 in front to keep from rubbing lol. A little negative camber wouldn't hurt either.

The 9 +28 is going to stick out


these are shots of 17x9 +34 with a 255/40/17 on the front

they are going stick out 10mm+

i just pmed you about this but since we're on the subject, what camber are you running with these 17x9 +34?
