Was wondering if anyone has run these size on a stock 16 inch rim. I know 225/55 works with no problem. Its just that the tires i want will be cheaper if i get 225/60.

It will fit, but your speedo will be over 5% off. If someone is GIVING you the tires, who cares, but personally, 225/50-R16 is a better fit.

 

This tire calculator recommends staying within 3% of stock height. A taller tire will put more stress on components like brakes and suspension.
