Falken or Hankook?

I am looking at some new tires for the summer. They will be swapped for winter wheels in Oct. or so but will see frequent rain. I'm going with 245/45/18 or 255/45/18. Here's what I kinda narrowed it down to.

Falken 512
Falken 452
Hankook H105
Hankook K104

Thoughts or suggestions, want to stay in this price segment.

I wasn't too happy with my falken 512s in the rain or snow. Good dry grip tho especially for the price

There are a lot better choices out there for summer tires, just look around the forum. Personally, the Falken 512's felt like marshmallows when I first installed them (compared to my stock Potenzas). As the treads wore down (which happens very quickly), they felt firmer (or I just got used to them), but the wet traction also went away.

I've swithched directions and am know down to Falken 452's or Avon M500's. Both seem to get favorable reviews in dry and wet. I decided UHPAS isn't needed and just went with a UHPS tire. If anyone has any other suggestions that fall in the $600 range let me know.

I have driven on the 452's. Very slow steering response and soft sidewalls but not so nice ride quality andd very noisy. Personally I'd save a little more money and get Bridgestone Potenza 050A Pole positions $760 for (4).

That way you get the close to the best in steering response, stiffer sidewall, great ride quality, outstanding wet performance, ok tread wear, extremely quiet, low tramlining, good looks, great grip, handling, steers very strait, and 30 day test drive for free (don't like 'em, get your money back).

This is a daily driver that gets pushed on occasion(nothing competitive). The potenzas would be over 200 more with shipping and have half the tire life. From most people I've talked to the 452's are quiet, have good grip dry/wet, nice wear, decent ride quality, and above average (for UHP's) response. Your the first person to really dis on them. I'm also looking for a lighter tire and the brigstones are usually heavier.
