Stretch Tires

Hey Org.

I know tire stretching is something that's not too popular here on the .org but I've been exposed to it recently and I'm sure most of you have seen it. It's popular with VIP or LUX style cars such as ones found on vipstylecars.

I'm currently running a 17x9" wheel setup with 215/45/17 tires. It provides a moderate stretch in my oppinion. Looks very cool.

I know for sure this is not going to fly off the wheel, it's mounted solidly.

Anyone else with tire stretching experience? Different setups?

I don't think they'd look very right on a Maxima. It's a family sedan...

That said I will likely be running 225/50 on an 8.5J in the near future...

I'll post pix once my wheels are installed and car is out of the body shop.

Again, it's not really that amazing of a stretch, but its definitely there.

My wheels won't fit without spacers due to the fact that the hub bore was not deep enough
