18" Racing Harts, Need tires

Hey,

I just Purchased some 18" Racing Harts and I need some tires. Currently they are 225/40/18 on them from Kumho, but I wanted to know if I can get a 245 50 18 to fit in the wheel well. I also have the car lowered on some Tein Coilovers ( Super Street).

if you're going with 245 width tires, they are going to be VERY tall unless you're running a lower profile. 40-series 245s are within 0.2" and are recommended. check the tire calculator sticky for a better idea.

Before you do anything, what is the width of the wheel?

After checking online, 245/45/18 seems to be a better fit. You speedometer will read 0.2% faster then actual speed.
