Rotating uneven tire to rear... any harm?

I was looking at my tires the other day and noticed that the front passenger tire is wearing unevenly. The inside of the tire is wearing more than the rest of the tire.

Is it okay to move the tire to the rear and get an alignment? As in, will I be damaging or wearing out some components in the rear by rotating my tires and giving it a "bad" tire.

I kind of like buying 4 new tires at the same time, so I was thinking of trying to get the most out of the rear tires before having to change to a new set... That is if it's not damaging any other components.

It's not going to damage anything. As long as the tire is just worn and there is no other damage to the tire, it should be fine.

Yah, it's just really unevenly worn. Was just afraid that it was going to wear out some suspension components by placing the tire back there. But if it's okay to do so, then I think i'll just rotate them some time soon.

Thanks

You should be fine, but you may want to have the tires with the most tread on the front. Keep an eye on it, and make sure there are is no metal showing through the tire.
