Will these tires fit my rims?

So my stock I30 rims (non T, 1998) currently have 215, 65, 15's on them that are shot. I use these rims as my winter set, and have the oppurtunity to get 195, 65, 15's for free. Will they fit or will they be too narrow?

Here is a related thread with a lot of info.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=527487

Here is the std and calculated data for your tires:

Width Aspect ratio Wheel dia Tire dia
mm percent inch mm
205 65 15 647.5 Standard

195 65 15 634.5 -2%
215 65 15 660.5 2%

That last number is the speedo error in percent. 2% is about 1mph at 50mph.

Whats the width of the rim? Im sure they will fit but it might be stretched a bit. I have no idea how flushed 215 is on the wheel but 195 is a lot thinner.

I have a tire question

I have a 2003 SE Maxima, the stock tires are 225/50/17. Would 225/45/17 be a suitable subsitute? Not that worried about the speedometer, but I heard it could mess with the ABS.

Does anybody know what other size tires besides 215/55-16 will fit on my 1999 maxima without rubbing? Looking for tires and nobody has 215.
