Ok so what im looking to do is get some 16 inch rims to put on the max for the winter. I want to get dedicated summer tires for my 17" GLE rims and dedicated snows for the 16 rims.
1. Will the 16 inch clear the brakes ( can i go to 15" rims or is that to small to clear)
2. What year Max's came with 16 inch rims as im gonna go to the Junkyard this Sat to get them.
3. Also does anyone know if any other vehicle 16 inch rims will fit the Max.

For Irish or Sooner or whoever knows... Is the lugnut size the same for all maxs regardless of year?

Thanks a bunch

Are the sock size 3/4 the same from the 90's to 2003. Im gonna go to the JY and i would think they would have the 16 inch rims to put on the Max. Would the 97-99 16in rims fit on the 03 Max?

2003 GXE's came w/ 16's.

Lug nuts, in my experience, have fit from 95 - 03.

450 is on the high side for me. My dad is in good with the JY and should be able to do about 20 bucks a rim if they have any

You car has smaller brakes than his, so he will need to be much more picky about what 15's he goes with.

Why the I30's and I35's, of course.

I've got a set of 16" alloys for sale, but they have tires on them, too.
