New Tires

Couple weeks ago I go new Hankook K106 225/45/17 on my max. The local shop price matched online wholesaler so I managed to get mounted balanced for $385 all four. I really like them they seem to have great traction in dry and wet condition, handle great around turns (very minimal body roll) and very minimal noise.

Dude those look exactly like the Save Intensa's that i am looking at right now. (owned by good year)

any idea if Hanook is owned by good year too ? (if so then the tires are trustworthy)

I really hope you don't think that different tires will help with body roll...

This is straight from wikipedia...

The Hankook Tire group, based in Seoul, South Korea is the seventh largest tire company in the world . Established in 1941 as the "Chosun Tire Company", it was renamed "Hankook Tire Manufacturing" in 1968.

Hankook Tire's worldwide reputation has largely grown due to its radial tire and bias-ply tire production. The company now supplies tires as original equipment to the Ford Motor Company, General Motors, International Truck and Engine Corporation, and others. In addition to producing about 50 million tires per annum, the company also sells batteries, alloy rims, and brake pads

The old tires were horrible traxtar they died after couple months I just kept milking time on them till I finally got new set. My steering was shaking so bad due to the rubber being so dried out

He probably means the tire sidewall is very strong and doesn't want to bend or chirp going around turns creating the body roll effect/feel.

That is exactly what I ment. My old tires had lots of body roll around sharp turns, it seems like the car was gonna flip.

bump up the tire pressure for less sidewall rollover. (of course this will give other side effects too). Isn't this how those ford/firestone rollovers happened?
